Strategery: Transparency Transparency Transparency

Matt Stoller at BOPnews offers this vision of a transparent DNC. Emphasis mine:

As for me, I'd like to see a lot more transparency in how the organization works. I'd like polling data to be public, the entire staff list public, the strategy memos out there, and a lot more open conference calls, blogging, and podcasting, as well as pushing things like the wikifying of policy groups across liberal circles and the open sourcing of advertising campaigns. Enough of the secrecy. The top said 'Give us $200 million and control and we'll win'. They didn't. It's time to let us in on how everything works. I'd also like a lot more emphasis on training organizers and coalition building.

It's time for change. It's time for all of us to brainstorm. It's time for us to roll up our sleeves. It's time for us to realize that the Democratic people are the Democratic party.
